Well, it is come and gone.  What a fantastically grreat weekend catching up with (not old) longtime friends!  Who would have guessed,  in 1968, that we would meet again in 2018? A lifetime for us all.....

Hi Classmates! I would love to see you in person, but unfortunately can't make it to the reunion because I'll be launching my book, 48 PEAKS, Hiking and Healing in the White Mountains. Nothing like being a debut author at the tender age of 67! If you'd like to know something about what I've been up to, at least for the ten years between 1998 and 2008, read this memoir that got a great review from Kirkus. During that decade, my best friend died and I got breast cancer ... but found that hiking in the White Mountains of NH brought me back to health and helped heal my grief as well. I hiked all 48 of the mountains over 4000 feet high, most of them in my 50s, post cancer, despite injuries and a fear of heights! Hope you'll check out the book and let me know what you think. Wish I were saying this in person! What have you been up to? Curious minds want to know... And contact me if you're in the Boston area. All the best,

My ETHS and Skiles yearbooks survivied Harricane Harvey.   I am not so sure I have. Practicing law here in Houston., TX. Might be reason enough to attend for a few days  to beat all this heat, humidity and re-construction noise and dirt.

Wow! Have 50 years really gone by? Adult life has been quite an adventure for me since Lincolnwood, Haven, and ETHS!  Look forward to reconnecting with classmates and reminiscing about the good old days. If you remember me, please send me an email!

When Sue Moore suggests things, I listen! I am likely!  I just told our son about Avon Gillespie's leading the school in "WE Shall Overcome" the day Martin Luther King was murdered. Anyone remember that? And how Mr.  Gillespie then said, "Let's change the pronoun from 'we' to 'I," and sing it again." And we did. I often drop into the ETHS cheer song as well, but I do not understand why people tend to put their hands over their ears!"
